Install/User Note:

1. HDD Version: V2016.3 WIN8.WIN7 System HDD is not support wifi,please notice.
2. Equipped with WIFI Adapter for wireless function,directly use,no need setting.
3. Supports for a new Intel adapter function,diagnose and reprogramming function.
4. When doing programming function, please use Wlan cable to connect the device and laptop, do not use Wifi connection. 
5. No Network And No Connection With The Original Server When You Use The BMW ICOM Software HDD, Otherwise It Will Be Damaged, And Have To Send Back For Repair.

ICOM A2 System Requirements:

ICOM A2+B+C Special Features Compared with ICOM:

1. The modified ICOM A2 for vehicles with OBD access receives a significantly more powerful processor and more storage capacity.
2. Robust aluminium case will help to avoid damage when using in harsh environments.
3. To protect the MOST connector, the ICOM B for vehicles with optical MOST access will be equipped with a soft cover made of rubber instead of the former plastic cap.
4. The ICOM C for old series with a diagnostics socket will be additionally equipped with an approx. 20 cm long cable, which facilitates the connection of the ICOM A2 and makes storage in the engine compartment easier.
5. BMW ICOM A2+B+C supports BMW cars till 2015 year. Supports BMW & MINI full system diagnose and offline programming.

How to install/configure BMW ICOM USB WIFI D-link?
(If you cannot set it well,you can buy a new wifi adapter directly from us)

1. Insert WIFI USB D-link into the computer via USB port

2. Turn off the computer built-in WIFI or additional WIFI resources. Make sure only BMW ICOM WIFI USB exist on the computer. Meanwhile, disable both Internet network and local area connection.
3. Then power on computer.
4. Open “Network Connections” program to check there is no other existing Internet and Local Area connection.

NOTE: Do not disable DWA-131 which is the ICOM WIFI USB. If it displays “X” mark, ignore it.
5. Run BMW ICOM Rheingold ISTA-D ISTA-P software, tick “WIFI for ICOM”

6. Connect BMW ICOM A2 emulator connector with vehicle. Wait 20-60 seconds until the BMW ICOM A2 WLAN indicator stops flashing or flashes slowly which indicates that well communication is built between WIFI USB adapter and BMW ICOM A2 WIFI.
 

7. Start using BMW ICOM ISTA-D diagnostic or ISTA-P programming software. Press OK to continue.

8. The ISTA-D, ISTA-P, ISPI, ISSS etc program cannot be turn off, but only be miniaturized.

9. The WIFI BMW ICOM diagnostic system device is recognized by computer. WIFI wireless diagnostic and programming function are activated.

What should you pay attention for usage:

1) Password: New hdd does not have hdd password. For old version hdd. First password is "BMW", just ignore second password, do not fill anything
2) Software for HDD is encrypted. Do not change anything setup on this software. Such as crack the software, or copy the software of hdd to other place, or change display Mode, such as some part is Hidden, do not change it display status. Just directly install and use the software.
3) No Network And Also No Connection With The Original Server When You Use The BMW ICOM Software HDD, Ortherwise It Is Will Be Damaged,And Need You Send Back For Repair
4) It comes with D-link adapter and Software HDD, they have the same serial number, you must use the software HDD and D-link together. HDD and D-LINK works together only when they have the same serial number. If you lost anyone of them, you need to buy the new set.
